Tiny white bugs in my soil (Picture)

Hi guys,
I wanted to transplant my plants and I saw small insects on the bottom of the pot (peat pot). I took a microscope to identify them but I have no idea. Maybe springtail ? And the spider ?
Looks like one of the good mites in the soil in the 1st picture and a springtail in the second. I would go ahead and transplant. The troublesome spider mites found on the leaves are the bad mites, soil mites are beneficial. Springtails can be beneficial if their numbers are low.

Ok, thanks for your answer. I don't know if I have a lot of springtails, I just saw 6 or 7 under my pots, which came out and went in. Same for spiders.

I don't think you can eliminate springtails if they are already established. It would take a heavy infestation for there to be issues. I've had some heavy populations of springtails and have never really had a problem with them being there. If the population gets too big it could be an indication that the soil is being kept too wet. Letting the soil dry out some can help thin out their #'s.

Yeah, that makes sense. This fucking peat pot is too wet every time even though I wait for it to dry. (Soil is bone dry but pot is still wet.)
