Tiny black bugs crawling near roots and open wound

So a week ago a branch I had trellised broke from the pressure. So this afternoon I'm in the garden and I see tiny black bugs crawling around the wounded area. Can anyone help me identify.

I'm running a rdwc system and don't see any other plants with this issue. It seems they like where the fresh plant material is.

Not sure about the one on the left but the one on the right looks like a springtail. They are harmless.
