Tincture questions

First time making tinctures, I have close to 18g of compressed keif that i would love to get rid off plus a couple hundred grams of trichome filled lowers .will be using the double boiler method with MCT oil. I got a lot of material to play with from buds, hash and keif,
What is the best material from these 3 for tinctures?
For how long should i leave on stove?
What heat? What ratios? Any help or tips are welcomed.

I like coconut oil for drops, much more palatable than olive.

I can't help with the times and temperatures because I use a Magical Butter Machine to make my drops, takes all the guess work out of the equation. I highly recommend one.

I've been considering one for some time Hobbes, what is your favorite thing to make with it? Does the Coconut oil get hard again after you infuse it? I'm seriously considering ordering one of these in the next few days since I just harvested.

In the fridge, yes. Soft at room temp.

I use the oven.
Bust up & decarb your product first.
Cover cannabis with oil and about 1cm more
Cover and into the oven at apx 200f overnight
Strain & you're good to go

I just make the coconut oil drops, I'm not much for cooking. I bottle in 60 ml dropper bottles and give to my 5 people on my oil list.

I use coconut oil that's liquid at room temperature and then store the bottles in a dark cabinet.

I make two batch sizes depending on the oil I have on hand. 900 ml of oil gets 60 grams of flower; 500 ml of coconut oil gets 30 grams of bud.

I don't get much of a buzz because of my tolerance but my mother, who was getting 3-4 hours sleep a night, is now getting 8-9 hours sleep a night. The other 4 people I give oil to find similar effects.
