Hey all another quick discussion.. this one Tin Foil.

So i have a small grow on the go.. I have nothing to use as a reflective sheet..

I dont have the money at the moment for mylar as that shit's pretttty pricey.

Is using tin foil really as bad as it is made out to be? Surely i will benefit from using it rather than nothing?

Thanks for ya time everyone. :leaf:

even using white paper is better than tinfoil. It will cause hotspots and burn your plants. If you must use it make sure you use the side that is less shiny

It's good for making steamed potatoes. A baked potato is cooked naked. Tin foil is good for that and blocking sunlight in windows.

A roll of white butchers paper. Buy it at Costco, Sam's Club or any food distributor. It's even glossy on one side with some brands.

Cheers for the input guys, i think im just going to buy some mylar sheeting now ha. The grow space i have covered with tin foil is around 75cm x 1.5m x 1.5m..

It looks pretty lit up in there but if mylar will do a better job mylar it is :)

Thanks again. :leaf:
