Get guys . I have kinda messed up turning my light on or off at the right time . My timer broke and till I get paid tomorrow I can't get one . I missed turning my light off by 10 min the other day. Then missed turning it On by 10 minutes. Iys happened a few times . Turned it to 12.12 about a week ago and I have already fucked up a few times . Plant looks fine . White pistles everywhere . Will my plant be ok or will it be getting stressed ? Cheers guys

Cheers . I'm getting a timer tomorrow so I won't have this problem again. Haha . Happy growing mate

What lighting are you using (wattage) and what timer are you getting.

Basic household timers won’t handle anything more than 250w. After that you’ll need a lighting contactor relay timer. Or horticultural lighting contactor to plug into a normal household timer.

I'm not sure which timers you've looked into, but this is not correct. I've used basic household timers for 700W before with no issues. For example, THIS model is rated for 15A (1875W). The ungrounded timers usually have weak ratings but the grounded ones are often rated for 10A - 15A if you look at the specs.

Completely different in the U.K. buddy.

Basing this from the language the guy is using in his post that he may be uk based.

If he’s not then disregard my information but it is pertinent when growing in the U.K. you’ll struggle to find many household timers rated higher than 400w and even those rated at 400w can’t handle switching a 250w CFL light (talking from experience)

I don't know what kind of plug in timer your talking about but that information is wrong. A normal house hold timer is rated in amps not watts. They are rated at 15 amps...which is a lot more than 600 watts. A cheap timer from wally world will work just fine. But they suck.

See above. We don’t all live in the same country.

That’s why these kinds of things have been developed

I'm just doing the one plant to learn for a bigger grow . I got a 75watt led light . I'll send a few pics . It's got a couple of normal led lights too just standard store bought ones at 700 lumens each lol as you can tell I'm new . But gotta start somewhere aha Screenshot_20200429-132354.png1588161875584287826059.jpgScreenshot_20200429-132423.png

That "75W" light only draws 25W and is pretty much useless for anything but seedlings.
I'm naffed then till my other lights turn up . No money to put into any from near me as I used it all on the ones I ordered online lol looks like I'll have to smoke some shit bud for now . Cheers anyways bro

I bought pretty much the same light when I started and realized very quickly how useless it was. Even my plants in early veg just seemed to be dormant. They looked healthy but just didn't grow.

That could also explain your other post about why your lower leaves are dropping off.

Definitely . I looked into it earlier . I got a couple of lights to put at the bottom . See if that helps a little . Shall I just trim the bottom of my plant ? Majorly? It's 1 week into flowering . Cheers
