Timing/Placement for SCROG

First time Scrogging. Topped once and did some LST. Ran a 1 month Veg. I spaced and installed netting a couple of days before I switched 12/12. Continued LST, weaving and defoliating over the next two weeks. Pics are at day 21 from switch. Seems to have gone well so far. Fairly even light disbursement and stretch is over. Ive seen some people run two even 3 layers of netting/grid. Id assume first placement is placed much earlier in veg and 2nd -3rd Scrog at transition into flower. Any benefeits to starting earlier?

First net in veg for ease of training an even canopy, cutting anything underneath. The second net is for support, about 12 inches above with bigger holes like 5x5 inch

Good job, tho! If you can, just trim up the growth in the shadows

I use Task Support Rods to hold 4 ft x 15 ft (2 layers) of netting.
I don't use any netting in VEG, during that time I am low stress training the plants to be wider and topping any dominant branch heads to keep everything "tabletop" and consistent as possible. If anything in VEG needs support I will use small bamboo stakes to straighten it out.

Once they go to flower they are opened up into the nets and I do not ever weave into the nets, this makes it a bitch come harvest time. Also, I lolipop to the very 2nd-3rd node at the tips before 12/12 so I don't have to deal with a bunch of scraggly lower branches & buds.
