Timescale Question

I am 1 week in to my grow & I just want a bit of advice on the average length of time you would vegetate my plants for until I need to flower them & a rough estimate on how long to flower them for, Im growing skunk? Thanks in advance for any advice!

I'm about to start skunk.....

your veg time will be based on your height restrictions. flowering time is anywhere from 7-11 weeks. the ones I got are supposed to be closer to the 7 weeks, and I've talked to a couple other skunk growers and it's all been between 7-9 weeks.

Yeah these say 7 weeks but I was just abit unsure of how accurate that is so I thought Id get abit of advice. I've got about 4 feet that I could grow in to, what height or timescale should I stick to before I switch the lights to 12/12?

hydro, drip, I will have 2 400W HPS for flowering. just using some aquarium bulbs for coral growing for the veggin.

Fair play to ya man!! Looks shit hot! I've only got a little set up with a couple of plants in a 1.4m grow tent with a 250w lamp, growing soil. I'm gonna see how it goes & then pick up a couple of these ebb & flow pods I read up about them they look pretty good!

A quick question about your fan routine, do you have it on 24hrs a day or do you turn it of when dark for a couple of hours?

I now have my fan running 24/7 in order to keep the temp and RH down. my temps with the fan going at all times is 74 and my RH is 49%. without the fan on the temps go up to 86 and the RH is at 60%

btw I really like that little setup your lookin at. I made my entire setup... didn't want to spend a ton on a pre-made setup.

Do you think I'd should have mine on a timer then bcoz I cant see it getting to hot in there with 1x 250w HPS bulb & 2 plants? The reason I ask is I dont wanna it getting to chilled in there at night & I dont want the fan blowing up?

just check your temps, I played with mine for a while before I was happy. I also have a few oscillating fans in there too, blowing the air around. you'd be surprised at the heat that comes off these lights. But I dont know about a 250W, i'm sure it's not as hot as a 400W

I might just get it on a timer then see how that goes for abit. need to get a thermometer in really! I'm considering adding bloom nutrient to them tomorrow, they're a week old is this a good idea or am I being abit impatient?
