Timers on sale!!!

Thought I'd make a note

Timers are on sale and cheap as hell right now, Home Depot, WalMart, Lowes everywhere...

One reason...

Christmas Lights

They're in the christmas lights section, nice heavy duty outdoor timers seperate cycles, they were on sale for 8 bucks from 15, normally the outdoor 15amp timers are 20 bucks... So if you're gonna need timers now's a good time to get them...

Ow wow no duh ever things on sale it's not called christmas lights it's called CHRISTMAS.

I'm talking about the heavy duty 15 amp waterproof outdoor timer, 3prong grounded, protective cover... Sure you can get a 4 or 5 dollar timer for your CFLs or fans, but I'm talking about something that will run 15 amps without catching on fire.

If you're running high wattage ballasts on cheap timers, they might overheat and melt.

It happened to me, on the safe side of a surge protector... Twice... That's why I don't cheap out on equipment because I'd rather not burn down my garden/house...

Apparently 3 prong 15 amp timers are 5 bucks... Buy them up if you need them.
