Timer problems

A novice in his 2nd grow! I'm growing DWC and noticed after being away for 3 days that my light timer had lost 6 hrs over the weekend , I gave the timer another go and it lost an hour last night after resetting it in just 10 hrs. I've switched it to constantly on until I get a new timer tomorrow as I don't have time today due to work.
Will what I've explained above hurt my babies ? Ps they've only been in my system a week and are clones 4" tall.

could hermie them if they arent on a good schedule, try to get another timer as soon as possible.

i wouldnt sweat it where your still in early veg. if you were to leave it that way then you would stress the plant. get the timer on 18/6 and get them really healthy and they should be fine.

you don't want to have to revert your plants so keep it steady

I've actually been looking at leaving them run on a 24 hr during grow rather than changing back to 18/6

well id ease them up since their times have been off for the last couple days, and 24/0 is good but depends sometimes because some people like allowing their room and equipment to cool down, and some have heat problems during hotter times of the day so it ends up being cheaper on a/c when they choose this time to be their dark period.
