timer problem need help urgently + rep

Hello everyone I need some urgent advice on my light cycle, My girls were on a 18-6 cycle but upon switching the timer to 12-12 to induce flowering the light did not turn of at the destinated time, I then realised that the timer setting had been changed to 24hrs ( my suspision is it was that 1 of my brothers knocked the switched as he walked past)
I do not know when this happened so they light could have been on 24 hours for up to a week, in order to set the light cycle to 12-12 to suit watering needs ( lights on during day of at night) I am now going to have to give them 18 hours of darkness will harm the plants in any way ? Im afraid that it may cause hermaphroditism.

Just start your 12/12 now. I shouldn't hurt ,if anything they just got another week of veg out of it. Good luck
Have a stoney day I have put my plants in 36 hour dark before the 12/12 cycle and seems to start the flowering quicker, this would proble help you.

24 hours or light its bad for the plants at all dude. they just got a extra boost of growth. and as for putting it into 12/12 just do it when ever you want them to flower. you should have a great plant
