Time to start my seed

Got my seeds in cups with distilled water, next the paper towel then into FFOF. I have read in two different books, one start seedlings in cup then transplant, the other says straight into final container. I only have 6-8 at a time. Opinions or tales from experience anyone?

start in smaller containers...once they start a good root structure(1-2 weeks) transplant into the larger containers :)

Be sure your soil is light and airy(ergo add more perlite to your FOFF)...also do not use any nutrients, only water, and only as needed do not overwater or you'll release too many nutrients from the FOFF and burn your seedlings :)

good luck! :D

small container better to start..eaiser to control water... never to much!!!they do not like wet feet..keep everyone updated..break a leg

You don't need to drop your seeds in cups just do the Paper Towel Method. You will find out if they're good or not anyway if they don't sprout. I would say start them off in small containers since you have multiple seedlings. Once their roots touch the bottoms of the small containers then you transplant them which could range anywhere from 2-6 weeks depending on your lighting.
