Time to start flowering....

(9) Early Misty Plants
Lighting: 400wt MH
Soil: Professional nursery mix/Black Gold Organic
Nutes: Silica Blast, Superthrive, Nirvana and Grow Big
Foliar: Seltzer water every other day

Ok...so my plants got off to a really slow start. I actually sprouted them around the 2nd week of May. In the last week, they finally got over whatever was bothering them and took off. Two are LST'd....5 are topped once, and 2 are au naturel.

I have limited vertical space - so I'll be starting flowering on Monday.

I have a sample of carboload that should last until harvest and I'll use the flowering tea from the local hydro store.

Also...I have this sneaking suspicion they may be mostly female. You probably can't tell from these blurry pics...but let me know what you think about sex!

Nice work so far. May your first child be a feminine child. :leaf:

haha thanks. I keep thinking I see signs of female on all of them - but I'm being an optomistic tripper. It's still too early to tell.

I'll post good pics once they've been in flower for a few weeks.

looking great, but where did you hear to foliar feed with seltzer water?

I reccomend never misting your plants, it drains nitrogen out of the leaves and the water droplets act like tiny magnifying glasses and create "hot spots".

but your plants look good so what do i know

thats 100 percent correct! I give out the same advice on a regular basis. If you really must mist them. Do it when you put your lights out. But in my opinion there is no need to mist plants unless it is a clone that has yet to root.

Got side tracked there. Cant see any signs of sex from your pics. Be patient they are healthy looking plants only time will tell what sex they are. Best of luck!
