first, this journal is open for conversation. post away. and let me say i have made a few journals and never really kept up with them because of internet problems etc.. :-?
i have been growing since oct. 2009. almost a year now =] i have grown sorta half-ass perpetually since day 1, started with CFLs, then 150s, and now finally im working with all HIDs!! i have read, and researched much more then i have first hand experienced, but now that i have the space/lighting/resources and a family member im caregiving for, im ready to get legit!
im going to be working towards a 15 plant vegg, 15plant flower setup.
and have my 4 mother plants.

this first round is going to be a bit off, lol, pretty much just to have a harvest coming while i let the first 15 vegg. i have 1 plant 30 days 12/12. 4 vegged out plants 1st day 12/12. and 15 clones going into 12/12 tomorrow morning or so.
let me tell you about my setup a bit.
lights- flower=1x 1000W HPS, 1x 400W MH. vegg=2x 150W hps(getting 400w MH soon)
soil- black gold potting soil/airation agents
nutes - fox farms GB,BB
space - flower= 12x18x7 basement with make shift walls. vegg= 5x5x7 DIY tent

:hump:
got all the clones transplanted. 2 of em looked like they had started to get stem rot so i tossed em to save me space. but they all fit good under the new lighting setup.

Hey man, seen you asking for ideas on how to get your clones closer to the light...I use milk crates, works really well cause they are cheap, stack-able to desired height, and air can flow thru them. I found it very helpful when you have plants of all different strains and age because it fits perfectly under one pot

that crossed my mind, but i have no idea where i would get my hands on 15-20 milk crates?

honestly, i know it seems like a very very easy thing to do, but i been thinkin and cant think of any thing that is stable/organized enough, that i can buy a bunch of without lookn like a total tweaker hahaha
