Time to flower, questions.

So, I started flowering 2 days ago, and I have some questions.
I thought that in the flowering period, they stay the same size, but I just read somewhere that they can almost quadruple in size. I have about 4 inches of freeplay right now, and thats not 4 times the size of my babies. Also, would they need more light during flowering in the days? I can't see this, because in the fall days are darker.
Also, they're going to need more water, aren't they?

Im also on my second day of flowering and I forgot about the
whole x2 growth so I might have 60" plants. anybody know how to stop
them from growing ? I heard by just clipping the top off??

12 hours light 12 dark will flower yes they will wnt more water but not tons moreand yes just chop the top and it will focus the nodes below where u topped the plant out to grow and each become a top, are u from seed or cutting how big right now

Double the hight? I'm gonna have to build a new grow box. Is there any way to stunt there growth? If I put up some chicken wire or mesh netting, will it keep them down?

If I were you I wouldnt top at the begining of flower (did it once never again) I think your best bet would be to just tie them down

Just measured, my problem girl is 24 3/4". It's a very tight grow, as the plants have learnt not to grow out, instead to grow up. I'm thinking the only way to bend them over would be to build a bigger box, probably 4-5 feet wide, 3 deep, and 1/2 tall perhaps?

IMO: I would say that's going to be your best option. (tying down) Topping now could create some serious issues. You don't want to stress the plant anymore than need be.
