Time is up for my male - cannabutter?

So it's the end of the road for my male plant, I have no room to grow him to full maturity away from my female.

I have made cannabutter with bud and stems before, but can I make it with him? grind the whole thing up and letter rip!

They are about 1 1/2 weeks into flowering, how potent do you think it would be?

well, since there is plenty of butter around I might try to make it.

I guess it wont hurt, maybe I will shoot for a small amount of butter and therfore a little more potent.

one can only hope, it just a damn shame to destroy such a beauty of a plant

two quarts water, one 1lbs butter, and your male plant boil for 24 hours. The water absorbs all the nasty plants shit the butter takes in the thc. let the bioled mix cool down in the fridge until the butter hardens on top of the water. Remove the block of butter from the water and get to baking. Works awesome with male plants I do this all the time.

Do you dry the male plant out first?

Yes male plants work great. And any scraps at all, stems, seeds, leaves. If you only have that small one then 1\2 lb butter, you'd need 2 or 3 that size for 1 lb of butter. Use it fresh and green or dried out it don't matter. I cut mine up in 2" chunks and boil at low heat for 4 to 5 hours.

Okay I really need to know if this really does work because the first plant I got going this year is looking male and its such a beauty... 20" tall and nearly as wide as tall... Should I let it mature longer before I cook him up?

Sounds interesting, i'd like to try this if it works because it really is a shame to chop down such beautiful plants, you wanna get some use out of them

to the starter of the thread...

i have the excat same dilema. two plants, they look the same.

i can't use butter (wife is vegan) so thinking of going the olive oil route. what i've read is that 2 hours over a simmer will get it all out. strain and toss with something good.

anyway, thanks for the thread. anyone else have insight?

i suppose it can't hurt to try right? what's the harm, some funky tasting linguine that might make me feel 'happy'.

peace out hombres!
