Time Frame Question

Hey guys ive currently got my young seedlings in a dome style for sprouting. My question is how long until they are big enough to be transfered into my new grow tent under a 600 watt. also Should i bother putting the MH bulb in for vegging or just do the hps the whole time? They are currently under a single cfl hanging over the dome. Pictures of their current state or in my signature.

i prolly wouldn't go by how old it is but by how big it is

Anyone have any recommendations at how big then? The strain being green o matic stays fairly small so im curious if anyone has experience with it to know when a good height is.

I let my recent seedlings get about 3-4" (4 weeks roughly) under cfls and an led before I put them under my 1000watt hps. I've put them about 18-24" from the light and they have been thriving for the past 2 days with no complications so far

Dude on those autos you really need to start them off under as much light as possible.Get them under your big lights as early as possible.If you dont you wont yield no where as much if you dont hit them hard with light.If you have two bulbs allready Id run my MH for vegging then put my HPS in after one week of flowering.Most autos flower in a month or so sometime sooner

Start your light out a little high for the first few days and gradually get them closer as your plants get bigger and can handle the light

Thanks for the great tips. My grow tent arrives tommorrow i already have the light and fan setup just need the tent and ill put them under it. Anything else I should know?

black out your windows if there are any.... the tent may take care of the light most of the time, but what if you open it?.....haha j/k.......
btw Target has blackout panels for about $10

Once I transfer them to the tent should I keep them on 20 hours on 4 hours off for the lights? or switch immediatly to an 18/6. Keeping in mind they are autoflowers.

Anyone able to drop some wisdom on me about this?
