Any thoughts on this for a 2x4. My 600 hps is just to much heat in summer.

Not sure if u know this but Build a Soil runs that light company and recently added that light I believe. Seems like a great company however I have no first hand knowledge. I am interested as because I am shopping for 2 LEDs to add to my 5x5s.

I was not aware. No idea who build a soil is.

Seems like a decent light. I'm just no led expert.

Build a soil is an organic supply company out of Colorado. The owner makes videos on Instagram and Youtube showing his tent grows in his shop. I think he has always used Timber. I'm far from an expert as well. Just trying to make an educated decision before I spend a couple of grand. Check out some of his videos. He talks about the lights and usage throughout his videos.
Gavita, Luxx, ThinkGrow, Growers Choice seem to be the big dogs right now. At least in mainstream terms. I forgetting a few others but timber is def a reputable company and their lights seem to be top-notch from what I see in those vids. I like that they build the lights to order in Cali(at least that's what the website said). Peace

I'm running it right now and is killing it man. Going to switch the tents up and I'm going to post a grow journal here soon about the cypress 4. Timber hooked me up big time and they have my respect! Made sure I had what I needed and obtained a upgrade for me from the 3vL to a cypress 4. My plants haven't been greener or faded as nicely under the other tents 2 separate blurples so timber is getting my business next round as well.

I don't think Build a Soil runs anything at Timber. I think they just have a deal with them and sell their lights now. I buy a ton of stuff from BAS. They're a local CO company.

Maybe @RainDan can clear that up.

Build a soil does NOT own Timber. Timber is a great company with great lights and sells their lights through build a soil because build a soil has used them and believes in Timbers products. They have a you tube series using the new cypress also going on right now.
Hello @meangreengrowinmachine and @PadawanWarrior

Thanks for the posts and support. @meangreengrowinmachine is correct - we have a reseller relationship with BAS although each is a separate company. Jeremy and the rest of the folks at BAS are very knowledgeable, and really good people. They also make wonderful products. Jeremy and I actually met on a podcast a few years ago and we were fortunate enough that he decided to sell our lights. Many of the employees at BAS also run our lights, and Jeremy's video series on his 10x10 tent is really good and quite informative. As a rule we don't sell our lights through resellers - BAS and LED Grow Lights Depot are the only two we work with and do not have plans to expand our distribution beyond that.

I hope this helps - happy to answer any additional questions.

Have a great day
Dan
