Hello RIU,

Summer time means new products - and here is our latest, the Chibi, which is Japanese for 'little':

http://timbergrowlights.com/chibi/

This is a single COB unit designed around the Vero Type B chipset. Ideal for veg, mother's helper, or supplemental for flowering/full cycle.

Any questions, please let me know.

Have a good weekend.

Regards,
Dan
Woupd this l8ght be good for a 3ft sq area for full cycle single plants

Well the light will cast a round pattern so a square would be better suited to that area or two smaller cobs like auto cobs next to each other. They run at 55 watts and would spread the light more like you need. cobshop.net

Cheers ill either get two smaller cobs so or the hlg135w r spec kit id say fairly new to leds and downsizing the box has a few issues with heat i must add another air intake id say my blurple panel seems to be a lil much heatwise do cobs and qbs run cooler again?

The autocob is valued at 204 BTU/hr if I remember correctly. With quality LED you can usually figure on about 3.6 - 3.8 BTU/hr per input watt. With many cobs I have found the 3500 K is best for flowering. It has more blue than the 3000 K but it doesn't loose much red to do that.

You could build your own autocobs pretty cheap, probably about 60 or 70 bucks each.

Come on guys, why keep poopooing on advertisers threads?
Let them advertise their product without being undermined by DIY, there are threads just for that.
Without the advertisers this place most likely wouldn't exist :peace:

Why wouldn't we spell out what the value is in something being offered we are not sheep. If there is value in whats being offered it will survive on its own.

I don't see an issue with proposing the DIY option. It's not like I am saying anything negative about the Timber lights, they are very nice products.

It isnt just the labor cost. Theres fully plug and play options for about .8$/watt.
Times are changing and timbers prices are going to have to change sooner or later an that's just a fact. Theres always gonna be people who buy a brand without checking around but it comes down to if timber is actually going to be competitive long enough for that to matter.

Whatever you gotta tell yourself. Fact is they assemble bulk made parts. Doesnt take that long to put in a few screws and solder a few wires.

And at any rate, if they cant be competitive while others are, well.. capitalism. But then again I dont buy 65$/lb hamburger so maybe I'm just a irrelevant peasant.
