Hey all on my first grow, (4 GSC clones, 2x240w blackstar LED's , FFOF , grow closet wrapped in mylar) just about to start my 2nd week of flowering tonight and im wondering when do you give your girls there first dose of Tiger bloom? im still using Grow big at pretty heavy dosage (4-1/2Teaspoons a gallon) These damn GSC fucking love nutes. When I was feeding every other watering they hated me when I would water pure water, when I watered with Grow big , the next morning I could see them bigger, happier, dancing around in my grow closet. Just wondering when do you give the first dosage of tiger bloom to your girls?:leaf:

When I switch to 12/12 every other watering. It's a must that you use Big bloom with Tiger bloom, they're designed to work together.

I don't use GrowBig in flower, it's got a lot of nitrogen, and you're not vegging your plants anymore anyways..

Well yeah that's what I would do. And yeah, both in the same gallon. In my case I throw 4 different things in one 2.5 quart pitcher.

cool thanks god for info, I didn't know you had to use big bloom with tiger bloom, I thought it was kinda one or the other cool info TY. I ask if they all go in one because it just seems like that's a lot of additive to only 1 gal, I mean right now with 4tsp of grow big in in gal , makes it quite diluted green color. im wondering how its to look with a little grow big, tiger bloom&big bloom lol.

Yeah I didn't know that my first grow lol. I was a little pissed. Yeah big bloom will turn the whole gallon brown, don't worry about it. Balance your PH after you put the nutes in, they tend to run in the 4.5 range. Use some baking soda to even it out to 6.5

Shit.... time to invest in a ph tester...... yes I haven't had one this whole time. So really baking soda Neutral's it out?

Oh you haven't? lol oh boy. Here's the thing. PH meters are notoriously inaccurate. So it's important to get a good digital meter. Mine was $50. This is important because if your PH is too low or too high your plant won't absorb nutrients, which is called PH lockout. This will kill the plant slowly over time and reduce the yield if it survives.

So after you mix your nutes in, check the PH. If it's lower than 6.2 or higher than 6.7 (assuming you're growing in soil) you need to adjust it. 6.5 is optimal. To adjust, don't buy that PH + or PH- stuff, just put in a pinch of baking soda if it's too acidic, or a little vinegar if its too base. Make sure to mix it in well after you do this, and retest. It may take two tries.

Thanks for the rep btw

I use their feed chart that can be downloaded at their wed site. The file is to big to post here.
Cut the Grow Big in half and start using Tiger Bloom week #5
Edit:
I tested out the full mix of FF bloom feed nutrients, in all stages and they PH tested at a six with my stale tap water.
I believe this will be consistent for most people as the nutrients are PH balanced.
Sorry I should read more before I post.
