Tiered Growing in a Tent / Feedback Please?

Alright, I have a potentially dumb question. But first let me set it up.

I live in an apartment so being stealth is an important factor. Technically in my closet I could fit a 2' x '4 tent. But I plan on growing in my bedroom just so that I am not as cramped and have more room to maneuver. Obviously with a small tent like this I am somewhat limited if I want to do a SOG. So this is the idea that popped into my head (yes, I was medicated at the time):

The specific tent I am looking at is a Gorilla Tent Shorty (2' x '4 x 4'11"). I have the option of buying a 2ft extension that will increase it's height to 6'11". Given the extra height I was thinking that I could possibly put a shelf in at the midpoint so that I could have a SOG grow at the base level and then on the makeshift second level. I assume I would need an appropriate exhaust fan and clip fans throughout to ensure proper ventilation. My biggest concern is with heat. Before having this great/dumb idea I had planned on going with 2 x 300W LED lights. If I went with a tiered setup, I assume that would mean I would then have 4 x 300 W (2 up top, 2 down below). Given the space my gut tells me that it could get too hot with that many lights going at the same time. My gut also tells me that I may not have enough clearance for my lights in relation to the canopy. The main draw is that in an emergency I could break down the 2nd level and still fit the tent in my closet.

So really, here is my question: Does this seem like a plausible plan or am I being a dumbass?

Get a 3x3 tent and an lec 315. Veg with a 300 led or just cfls. Imo. Or build one so it looks like a wardrobe same lights

If your biggest concern is heat then what are the temp of the area when you'll be drawing in cold air.

If it's always 60 degrees you got more options than 80

Recently ditched my tents and now use studs and drywall to enclose everything. WAY cheaper and WAY better than tents. Fun to build too, well if you like building...

Can you get away with a "beer fridge"

Stealth was a major issue for me hense the fridge. I orginally had a 250W HPS but temp got to 45C So swapped it out for CFLs. Have a 130w Grow and 250w Flower. I went CFL over LED as LEDs have to be a long way way from the plant. Which is not possible in such a small space.

led's are very possible if you know how to DIY with Vero's or small cxa's, and small drivers, at fewer watts,,
but if DIY is not your thing, I would go with a 150 watt HID or a BIG cfl,

can you vent out a window?,, or will you have to vent into the same room your pulling air in from?
do not buy 300 watt cheapy chinesse led panels,, i have one in my barn, you will regret it later,, low yeild , high heat, and when the chips burn out, good luck on any warranty

I'd have to vent in the same room I'm pulling air from. And thanks for the heads up on the Chinese LEDs. I had flirted with that idea for a few days until I researched and realized that they're a borderline scam.

ok my crop before last,, i had to pull air from the same room that i vented right back into, and if you want stealth, you need to learn carbon filters,, its not hard,, dont buy the hype,, you can make them, use carbon for fish filters, learn how to bake the carbon, re use it, change it, have more than one filter,, and you can keep it smelling clean all the time, but you have to be on top of it,,

oh, and you can don fine in a short tent, but I prefer furnature, or refridgerators,,, they look like they belong,, you can convert a cheap dressor from craigs list, for far less than a tent, and it looks normal in a room

i am currently growing in a wardrobe,, got it from a hotel that was refirbing the rooms, sold them for 30 bucks each, type wardrobe into craigslist,, they are taller than dressors, mine is 6 feet tall, takes up the same foot print as a dressor

I use the smaller version of that tent and can use LED just fine. Without a hood, you only need room for a little bit of airflow between them and the ceiling. The burn issue you describe... just isn't true. I guess if you had a 100w single CoB, it might be a little too focused, but that's a manageable issue.
