Thanks everyone for input and advice and for even checking out this post. Grandpa would have loved it. The second auto was really strong and frosty they were definitely the best end product of my grows considering we always had outdoor problems. Not going to lie to make myself look better. The bubblegum auto seeds from thseeds were over all good. Got the three pack from an order to truenorth seed bank. Two of the three seeds sprouted. All three germinated but only two popped soil. It took 68 days to harvest the shorter Christmas tree shaped pheno. While the second taller one went to day 76 before I put it in the spare room in darkness for about 40 hours. The tall plant had more of a sour fruit smell after fully drying and curing in two different quart jars. The small plant I dried and cured in one bigger rubber sealed jar with a clamp down lid. I don't know if the jar made a difference but the shorter plant had a sweeter more bubblegum like smell when cut and hanging but after it dried completely and started curing it was really strong and kept the fresh green smell. Almost like a cut grass with a weaker smell of bubblegum. Also probably my harvest being premature didn't allow the smell to be all that. Both plants smoked really thick at first making my bong look yellow almost when filling. But I put most away to fully cure in the jars after taking a few samples to try before hand. After 10 days of me opening and closing the jars the smoke isn't at all harsh to the throat, no taste of green trim anymore just a smooth musky taste. Kinda like a cheese after taste. The high from both plants were really strong. As I smoked a joint of each plant. (Grandpa always insisted on smoking a joint to get full flavor from all his plants when they were done curing). Both took till about mid way into the joint before the high crept in but it would steadily get strong over the next ten minutes and mentally get you stuck for a good hour and a half before vanishing as quick as it comes on. The tall plant had twice the frost and a way longer high. I would rate the finished buds from the better plant a 7.5 out of 10 overall. Not the best I've smoked. Not the best I've smelled. Not the prettiest I've seen. But there was nothing I didn't like about the strain it just didn't amaze me in taste smell or buzz. Over all I still liked it alot. Grandpa would have loved it. Bubblegum was one of his favorite strains he's tried. I'll just have to search for a female and not take short cuts next time. I would recommend this strain if you wanted a good size auto in 10 to 11 weeks. With an ounce or more per plant of pretty good quality. But if you want to grow that plant that wows everyone in strength and smell it wouldn't be my first choice. I just passed one week mark on my 2 girlscoutjones Jones from connisuer genetics 2 akorn from thseeds and 2 mystery fem seeds from my connect in Humboldt all under the same scrog. I'll post updates and picture for anyone who wants to see
good work

as for strain crossovers .....go deep not worth doing unless u can claim a whole new strain register the genetics and sell the seeds off
as the auto was grandpa idea
strain name use his initials
do bubble gum and gsc (for the medical and bubble gum taste ) breed that with the bubble gum again so 75/25 BG/GSC
2nd plant do the bubble gum with another good medical strain same way so 75/25
then breed those 2 plants together to make a 3rd medical strain and combining the best of 2 medical and 1 BG (u might be breaking the rules by using the BG genetics 2 times )

I tried the rubber seal jars and they did not cure properly for me which pissed me off because they cost a lot more than the regular widemouth jars do.
Are these the same kind of rubber seal jars that you were using?
Looks just like the picture on the scale. Same clamps and lid but my jars were about twice the size. If you stacked two that's the size. But they messed my first plant up. They would keep getting really wet even after drying on a line hanging for five days then when they were done the dried to a crisp one night in my candle jar I use for my stash.
