We drink coffee and eat lots of veggies which makes my compost barrel hot and green and needing peat and straw and leaves to balance it out. A little black soldier flit help and I have my outdoor compost magic. I think soldier fly frass is way under appreciated.

Working the synthetic ferted soil into the composting-mixing regiment will allow the herd to make it useful. However, I am not a fundamentalist purist.
