Thrips to black spots to leaf tips curling up.

Sounds like I may have to do that. It'll be a pain to get to the back tho. Not much room in a 3x3. I hope I don't have root rot. I am using those cloth bags so hopefully that cuts down on the risk. Yeah I am waiting until it gets fairly dry and light. Today I did not though, I did a flush thinking my reverse osmosis water was causing a lack of Calmag (one idea running thru my head as a newbie grower)

Oh and about the gnats, I would say I don't have those as I never see any inside the tent. Altho, I do have them outside my tent around other plants

definitley don't spray anything anymore - you're in week 4

thrip damage looks like little white dashes and you'll have snail trails from them....that's not thrip damage - those orange hairs look like you may sprayed with the lights on?

Hmm never sprayed recently. Well, I did in the first week but one application. I thought maybe the thrips got to the buds. But I do have thrips and thrip damage. Just didn't see the telltale signs like you said, on my other leaves which confused me if I had more than one thing going on. But yeah, definitely no spraying now, I don't want to ruin the taste or anything of the buds.

If you can see thru the leaf tissue like little windows it's thrips. He's shown pictures of the thrips and I've had thrips multiple times. The very young ones might leave little dashes but the adults make windows in the leaves. Recent feeding looks shiny like it's wet.

I've never seen snail trails from them they run around on legs and can jump almost like springtails. A slight rub squishes them and how I've got rid of them when I only had a few smaller plants to deal with. Prefer them over mites any day.

I'm starting to think it's toxicity build up or some kind of nutrient lockout. Along with a thrip issue. But I'm hoping I can turn it around if that is it. The leaves are curling up and looking worse, however, the buds appear to be getting better and less brown. I'm attaching a pic of a small beetle or something I've been seeing on my other younger plant in the vegetative stage. Does anyone know what this is?

Unless there's a bunch of them it could have just wandered in. Goggle, 'Identify a bug' and you should be able to find out what it is.

Looks more like a radiant heat issue than any deficiency. Deficiencies affect the same class of leaves all over the plant and not just ones that were probably jammed up against the wall.

Looks like a bit of nute burn going on but it should be happening to a lot more leaves.

Damage like that can be caused by liquid sitting on the leaves under strong light or just for a longer time. Sometimes when one leaf is draped over another moisture will collect between them and the lower leaf top will go all brown at that spot.

Something going on for sure.

Could be a carpet beetle. Maybe google carpet beetles for your area and see if they match.

Maybe I have an excess of one nutrient and and defiency of another? Light green leaves with necrotic spots, twisted and malformed leaves is a copper deficiency. Maybe I have that?

I've been flushing. Leaves continue to turn, and new ones as well. This is what some leaves are progressing to. If it makes it more distinct as a certain issue, not sure.

Nute burn?
Check your roots. Looks like root aphids to me. The Chlorotic spots in the middle of the leaf and also if you notice the mature leaves being affected first. Older leaves will scorch and fall off the plant. You will have brown roots from the damage. Take the plant out of the pot in the dark with a light and watch the inside of the pot for little light brown crawlers.

I'm going to read up on these, thank you. If that is what it is, Is this treatable in flowering stage or am I screwed?

Looks like nute burn on some of those leaves. I've had that often enough.

Very unlikely to be copper or any other micronutrient deficiency as a lack of those affects new growth first as all but zinc are immobile nutes and will show up on emerging leaves before any other. Most micronute deficiencies are due to a high pH locking them out rather than a lack of them.

How long does it take for new leaves to stop being affected and for it to turn around? A friend said about a week grace period. I was going to do a soil slurry shortly and see if the ph is too low or high.
