Thrips in Flower, best spray?

Hey All,

The title kinda says it but ill elaborate a bit. A few weeks into flower, buds finally starting to pack on a bit, and I noticed leaf damage on the bottom leaves. I checked and yep, thrips. Ive never run into a pest issue in my three grows and I have seen recommendations for citric acid or other sprays. I live in a townhouse and am not keen on introducing lady bugs as weve had terrible infestations of them before and my wife hates them. Im glad they work for people but I will not be using them so lets please try to keep away from hammering that point lol.

What sprays or what concentration of citric acid would yall recommend with the plants being in flower? Appreciate any and all help!

Thanks yall,
Tahoe

I use Spinosad, not sure about citric acid sprays although others here recommend it.

I'd say depends on the level of infestation. I grow outdoors and have sprayed for them before, but they never were more than annoying. You get those spots on the leaves and all, but they didn't seem to kill leaves or affect growth. Being indoors, your situation may be different
