Well I've had the three Timber Grow units for almost a couple weeks but I'm still building out my new space. I'm hoping to be breaking out the white paint tomorrow evening. I've got the aluminum stock to make up my DIY frames which I will be drilling and riveting.
I was hoping to get some imput from yous guys on spacing the COB's. My space is 46 inches across by about 12ft long. I figured the basic. X X X

approach was the best way to go but I'm unclear if I can get wall to wall coverage. My mounting stock is 36" and I was thinking if I put one cob centered at 18" and cobs at 6"and 30" that I could cover 46 ". Is that correct or wishful thinking? I'm wavering on the distance between each row of 3 cobs. Right now Im contemplating 13 or 14" inch on center. It looks like I might end up with a good solid 8x4 foot print. I've got two fresh drops to the breaker box so my power is dedicated. In the pic you can see some ductwork. That leads right outside and I plan on using it for intake and output I've20161004_120827.jpg 20161004_120753.jpg just gotta figure out the how's and why's of it. This project would have been a breeze with some help but it's always best to practice some discretion. At least for now. Thanks and will that spacing work or should I tighten it up?

I think a 3 3 3 would be better or 3 4 3 4 you generaly want one cob per sq foot for a 50 watt draw watt cob

Thanks bseeds.. I think that's what I meant in my original post. I apologize for that post as it is extremely confusing due to the fact that I was equally extremely stoned. The stock I have on hand for the frame is 36 inches. I think I plan on going three COBS per 36 inches. One at 18 inches and one on either end which would give me 13 inches on center and repeat with another row of three keeping everything 12 to 14 inches on center. WTF b I guess it's a good thing I'm riveting and not welding the frame as I had contemplated. TY.

Hey Dan. I think you probably already answered this question for me but I still haven't had the LED epiphany. That's what happens when you leave a good portion of your brain in the 70's. I'm looking forward to finishing my room, assembling my lights and getting my grow on.
