How's it going RIU... Got a little concern. I have two clones that have been in veg now for 10 days. Everything has been going pretty well. Today i was doing my daily maintenance and noticed a few leaves bending/curling down. I checked the ph and the sour willy was a little low, around 4.8-5 (orange basically, dont have a digital meter). I got it back to about 5.8-6. I assume this to be the problem, but my other clone's ph was right at 6 and seems to have the same problem, though not quite as bad. Last night i switched to 24hr lighting. The first 9 days i had them on 20-4. Is this too much light? Temp fluctuates between 71-80 degrees.

Setup: 4x4x6 tent
2 5gal buckets with airstones.
600 watt hps

Any input/advice would be very much appreciated as this is my first grow.

The leaf curl you are seeing looks borderline normal to me, I wouldn't be too concerned about it. But, it looks like your leaves have some heat stress (curling up at the edges). Have you measured the temps at the top of the plants? If you take the reading at the base of the tent it can be misleading. Lights might be too close.

I don't have experience growing in anything but soil and am not an expert on PH so I will let someone else comment there.

Looks normal what your temp and how far away is light?

cannabis is a c3 plant (look it up) no such thing as to much light...

overall looks ok though maybe im not seeing something...

What are you feeding them and how much?

The bit of edge curl looks like heat stress to me as well. You might consider lowering your temps or raising your lights a bit. Always check your temps at the plant canopy.

Hey guys! Thanks for the replies.. I am currently using the GH Flora series. I only put about 1/ml of each due to them being so young. PPM is reading around 300-315. My tap is about 175. The light, i would say is about 14in from the plants. I have the ballast on 75%. Temps are reading a little high, 88, humidity is at 27.
