1.Area is 3'+5'
Agrobrite light. Specs in pic below
2.Above the light is open to the closet.
3.Better control of temp. Fan blows on top of light to keep cooler.
4. 76 degrees to 78 humidity 30
5.Reflective curtain in front for access.
A little over a month old . 18 on 6 off.
Fox farm soil. First feed yesterday tbl spoon mega crop in 1 gal water. Fed about 3/4 gal drained excess.
Anything I should change or do?
Will this light be good from start to finish or should I get red/blue lights? You all have been great thanks in advance

Hello. In my opinion the light is lacking for flower. It will get you through veg if kept close. I'm just learning these LED fixtures. On my fourth pair and 12th purchase overall. I use Tubes for clones and seedlings only. Your light is great for tray of them.

Humidity is a bit low.
Your light probably came with 5000k or 5500k bulbs in it which wont be great for flower to start with. Pairing that with it's only a 4 bulb, I'd say you'll want to at least get a set of 3000k/3500k bulbs to swap out for flower.
T5s are great for veg, but the light doesnt penetrate very well and can leave you wanting more for flower.

Hello Fragile. Do you think he should train this plant? The fixture is far to long for a single vertical plant.

Should I replace all 4 or 2 and 2? What kind of bulb to replace? These are 6400

That would be ideal. I train the hell out of my plants in veg to keep a flat even canopy that I can hang my T5s inches away from. I try to stay away from recommending too much training ect to people that are still getting the hang of stuff.
I do agree that theres a lot of wasted light with how it is now.

Youd want to swap out all 4 for flower with whatever 3000k/3500k or so T5 HO bulbs you can find. If you have the budget for it, I'd pick up a second light to swap out for flower as changing t5 bulbs is annoying imo.

I'd suggest 3000 to 3700K. And mix it two and two.
Same color just lower k? Sorry new to all of this.

The hanging led I have here I just replaced with the 2x4 so add this or just use the led in flower? 1000 lumens veg/flower light

Different k ratings are different colors. Stuff in the 5000k and higher range is fairly blue and works well for veg. Stuff in the 3000k-4000k range has more red and is better for flower. You can use whatever you want in the end, but if you tailor the light you give it to the stage it's in, you'll get much better results.
Do you have a link to that light? Using both for flower would probably be enough.

Unless you are putting your plant on a turn table? The lighting would be un even. What are that LED's specs?

This is a 132watt actual draw. The spectrum seems to decent. I would top your plant and do 3 to 4 weeks of training before flower. I would also enclose the plant to a 2x2 area with your mylar. Run the light about 20 inches above the canopy and watch for bleaching and curling of the leaves. Keep the temps under 80 F.

Also your watering is overkill if you are draining afterwards. You want to just see run off. Not wash your nutes out of the soil.

I also suggest rooting that cutting. You'll have a strong mother of known traits to expand your garden from as you get confident in your abilities.
