I am trying to address my plant issues, Its only about 10 days old. Please let me know "what" I'm doing wrong that the plant doesn't look more robust?
That plant will never drink a gallon and a half. You could drown it watering like that. Since your in a rally large container and the plant is so small it will have trouble drying out. Water less, like a cup or two at a time so the plant goes wet dry wet dry. Oxygen needs into the root zone more frequently. That will make it grow more. As for nutes id be giving it less than quarter doses and not every time. The problem with having such a large container is that you cant flush the grow medium without drowning the plant. Coco needs some runoff so the salts dont accumulate in the rootzone and burn and cause lockout from saturation. Its going to be a tough start for her but if you let it be wet/dry often and dont overfertilize your going to be fine. One more thing, if you keep the temps up past 78 and have good air movement it will help dry the root zone out faster. Good luck.
