Those That Work In The Medical Marijuana Industry

So everyone who works in the MMJ industry, when someone asks you what you do for a living, what do you say? Do you just come out and tell them the truth or make up a lie? Do you get a lot of negative reactions when you tell people you work at a dispensary, co-op, grow shop etc.

I recently quit my job to do full time grow room design, and other consulting services. Between that, and tending to my modest grow, I stay busy full time. I might not make as much money as I used to, but now I get to love what I do.

But now that I don't have a white collar job to identify as "what I do", I don't know what to say. I was at the gas station, the cashier asked what I did in small talk. I said consultant, but that's too vague and wasn't good enough. When pressed further I figured what the hell and just told her. I could tell she didn't approve. Not that I care, cause I disapprove of her dissaproval, but I don't feel like dealing with that on a regular basis.

Just say your a marketing consultant , and you started your own business

or a logistics consultant. logistics is the flow of goods. so you make sure they get the grows done on time

when you're dealing with an illegal drug there's going to be people that won't like what you're doing.

there are tons of jobs that are looked down upon anyway, who cares? she works at a gas station...

i have fun with it.

sometimes i say i'm in landscape, sometimes horticulture, sometimes gardener, sometimes i say i'm a caregiver to cancer patients (<---that is the best one to use on old ladies and kindergarten teachers) and sometimes i simply say i grow cannabis for medical patients.

"unemployed" also works.
