If your female plant hermies naturally, and pollinates herself or any other female, they will in fact produce technically feminized seeds. HOWEVER... These feminized seeds will carry that hermaphrodite trait in their genetics, which would make the sex unstable.
Using silver on a strong plant to prohibit the production of ethylene causing the female to exhibit male traits, is the best way to produce feminized seeds. Using this pollen to pollinate another strong female plant will produce feminized seeds without the need to use plants prone to hermaphroditism. Thus, the resulting seeds and plants will be no more prone to hermying than either of their parent plant would have naturally been.
