This will be the greatest LED thread ever!!!!!

It was a nice thought but who really wants to talk about illegal stuff on Skype? Not that LEDs are illegal but dope would probably come up in the conversation at some point. I guess Colorado and Washington people might be okay with it but everybody else would probably like to keep their anonymity. That's why these kind of forums exist. There must be live chat groups in the legal states already so probably better just to find one and join in.

Yeah this is calling out the people too talk too me and you sound like you are afraid of talking to me lol and yes this will be the greatest thread ever because people will have to man up and talk not text and so far there is only a few that talk with me and the rest are cowards are you?
No offense Reals, but it makes me feel like someone's going to get facial recognition of me to use against me when I speak my ever so controversial mind.
Was wondering if you'd be the man to help w/ my retro-fitting to these lights?

You know you want to enhance your white. I'd like to add good white cobs to replace the burples on my Hydroponics Hut on the right.
Also, my SunCloak will be using 32" blades rather then these 48" blades next week. That will be shorter blades, same amount of diodes on the existing 800 watts of MeanWell drivers. So, I'm expecting much more density from this light then. Doug is also sending me 2' cords so I can space the blades more & build Cob rails to go above each bay. Was thinking 4, 40 watt cobs in 4k between the blades spaced at 2'. What's your thoughts?
Also, looking to build side-lighting for the Amare's to come.

Hydro stores would loss mad $ if they stocked good LEDs.
A good chunk of their $ comes from replacing bulbs every 3 grows.
Oh yeah, that does make sense. Also, LED prices drop all the time so they could get stuck with a bunch of costly stock they can't sell. Screw them anyway because you can get stuff cheaper by ordering it in.

Around me, I've seen stores sell the Kind LED. I told them they weren't doing their customers any favors selling them Kinds.
Yeah, I doubt you'll ever see led in grow stores anytime soon.
I think they should at least offer good led side-lighting though. Maybe led T-5 horticultural replacement bulbs too.
But then were right back to losing $ on bulb replacements again.
I'd rather order direct anyways, like you said.

They make their money selling nutes over and over again. That's how Big Mike got filthy rich. You just buy normal hydro nutes and slap a label on them that says something weed related and you get rich, apparently. You know, bud this, sensi that, pay me twice what it's worth.

Yeah, I feel ya! I do however, believe my Amare to be Canna-Specific lighting when comparing it to other LEDs. I know it sounds silly but the results are not & the crazy growth says it all. Unlike AN though, they are cost efficient. Going for only $2 a watt on sale. Less then pre-fab DIY after buying the extra aluminum for the frame, time & labor.
I am really interested in building some lights though that are designed to fit my needs. Like cob rails.
Can't wait to see Reals new light he keeps hiding from us!
