This Might be a stupid question!!!

im in a rush to get these plants finished...i now know that force flowering must be done...does it have to be 12/12 or can it be straight darkness for a couple of weeks?

like i said im in a rush..and i have been told there is no such thing as a dumb question lol..just thought i ask

any input is greatly appreciated

I think it really needs to be 12/12 because it has to mimic what the conditions woud be if the plants were growing naturally, i.e days getting shorter as summer is on the way out.

Try 8on/16off the buds will rippen faster but the buds will be smaller.

Straight darkness would be great for shrooms but your plants will not produce and die without light for weeks.

the most possable darkness you can give is 10 on 14 off and that sometimes will piss the plants off a bit why are you in such a hurry? another thing you can do to make them flower quicker is to lower the temp of your grow room to mid 60s and 50s at night
