This is why I trim my bush

That’s a fire hazzard! Your fucking crazy!!
I have an oscillating fan under the canopy that blows all the leaves & debris off the lights, but the Scrog catches most leaves & I clean & trim weekly. There are usually no leaves below the scrog…I’m about to cut off those lower branches as giant clones

Looks like all the lights were hanging for that grow
And
It seemed like you were doing a good job . Why move your lights like that?
I was using the lower lights during that previous grow. I usually turn the lower lights off while I’m working on the plants or it’s blinding.
A few years back I had the extra lights lying around so I decided to try adding them to the lower canopy because the bottom of my crop always had yellow leaves on wispy, week-ass little branches…maybe bcuz I’m cramming 4 bushy plants into a tiny little 3 x 4 tent. Anyway, I had some sub-par grows and even lost a crop to mold due to poor air-flow, so now I trim my girls high and tight and the lower deck looks almost as healthy as the upper deck. I can also see I need to do more trimming below…

The leaves were just creaping through the Scrog 2 weeks ago & I trimmed them down to bare bones last week. Now I’m worried about running out of headroom…
I left just that 1 lower branch in the front to clone…

Just in week 2 of flower but as far as colas go, I think we may have the pick of the litter.
I’m gonna smoke the shit out of this cola in the fall...probably while I’m fly fishing the Kokanee salmon run on the Gunnison River. And I’ll definitely have to have some for my Red Rocks concert line-up this fall.

Real wattage is probably 250 each. Why do you think the lower lights are dangerous? I’ve done it that way for years.
Sorry, late reply, been on holiday.

Because the heatsinks draw the heat up on a normal hung light, upside-down the heats going back into the LED which could fail and if a string goes out the rest will be red hot, debris sitting on that could be an issue.

Then there's the foam mats they are sat on.

Plus transpiration from leaves gets trapped and drops of water could land on the LEDs , probably got a waterproof coating but I wouldn't trust it personally.

Anyhow just my thoughts, i wouldn't be able to relax if I were away from the grow in with that set up.

Will follow to see how you get on though!

Good point about the lights sitting on the reflector foam…that was a bit sloppy, so I just improved my set-up & reverse-hung the lights on a cantilever & wires from the SCROG…Much cleaner & safer approach.
That below-canopy fan keeps the lights cool & blows any leaves off the lights, but that tight wire SCROG keeps almost all foliage from dropping. Each light is independently plugged into a surge protector, which is plugged into a GCFI.

So far it’s been an issue-free grow, the girls & their roots are really healthy, so I should be on track for 3-1/2 lbs.

Dam I guess I have a lot to improve on. 3-1/2 in a 3x4? Very impressive! I can't touch that. I wish I could get 1 lbs plants inside?

I still have at least 10 weeks to go, so a lot could go wrong, but a good RDWC with the right set-up can generate some massive yields.
