Went to go take a look at the plant after work. There's no plant. INSTEAD just a stem with the branches blown all over the area lol So i had to run around picking it up. The wind was ridiculous today. The leaves were already soggy and i couldn't even finish trimming and manicuring it.
Also props to guys on here who can trim their harvest good :clap: That's time consuming as hell lol it was my first time though :weed:

nah take some small scissors and get in there cut the leaf off as close to where the bud (calyxs) begin otherwise smoking all that leaf will be sooo harsh..thats ashame man looks like it coulda went another week or two!

dont worry bout it man atleast u got some smoke. ull be fine.
gotta learn some how. an no thats not trims well enough lol. start from the bottom and work your way up.. you almost gotta be bored tho imo, if you have something to do its almost impossible to sit there and manicure it.. just like reading a book.

I feel your pain, I had to chop 2 weeks early due to high winds that totally destroyed my ladies. It really sucks because of all the hard work you put into it all summer long and then in the end you have to chop it down early because mother nature can be a bitch.

That is one of the great things about growing indoors. We don't grow trees, but we don't fight caterpillers, rains, winds, etc. Sorry for your loss.

When I grew outside I grew under big maples and cut trees out for the light. This gave me protection from storms and made it possible to control the light factor(somewhat). I never had problems with bugs as long as I grew under and around healthy maple trees. The trees helped protect my plants from the elements. I learned long ago that it doesn't pay to grow pot in an open field. I plant in rows and space my plants about one foot apart usually 50-60 plants to a hedge. I also found that they do better together than alone. At night the plants all seem to intertwine with each other, maybe for comfort and support.

I'm over it. I still yielded 3 lbs, got rid of 2.5 lbs and kept .5 lbs of all the best buds for myself. There's always next year. Also I have the best of both worlds, I grow indoors and out.:bigjoint:

Well I don't buy High end stuff so I can't really give you and answer on that. There's stuff that goes for like 400 an OZ but I wouldn't be caught dead paying those prices. The stuff I grew was just some bag seed and I let it go for 2500 an LB. That's not a bad payday in my book.

However it did hit the 8ft mark :D
I really do not know how you guys can trim multiple plants lol Unless you have like a group of people helping.

Ever thought why your plants snap in half so easily is because you trim off the bottom and turn the top into an un-aerodynamic mass of foliage?

You should try standing on your roof when it's windy holding an open umbrella sideways. That's basically what you're doing to your plants by "lollipopping"

..exactly, and besides, you can get a lot of nice tops from lower branches - especially if the geno type is prone to growing heavy bottom branches.

ya I'd love to not have to bonsai or "lollipop" the plant, however living in a city populated by 7mill isn't the safest place to grow an 8ft cannabis plant lol By cutting all lower foliage it looks like a bonsai-d bush to the average person. Its also much more aesthetically pleasing to the eye in my opinion. None the less the grow was not used to make money, its all personal use and given to close friends and family. So Although it sucks the wind demolished my plant, if i was in it for the money it'd be alot more disappointing. But i figure i'll get a pound at least off it so that's enough to eliminate my migraines for a while :) Next grow i'm trying is an aerogarden grow so no need to worry about wind lol

Just to let you know the lollipopping or whatever was done by natures hand, the plant grew that way on its own. The only thing I ever did to that plant was top it and that was to stop it from getting taller. Notice in the back round there's some poles holding it up for extra support. The windstorm was over 50mph.
