this is my first grow and i wanted advice under my conditions soil or hydro???

What does the size of the garden have to do with anything? I used to run 5k in a house as well. But I don't care if you ignore me, go for it.

I don't do pics of plants on scales, pics of money, or pics of guns, but if you like pics of closet grows I got plenty of those

All much bigger than an arm

Burned the shit out of these but still got a good harvest

Like I said, I don't take pics of plants on scales, I do keep records and I can tell you what my gpw is, you have neither shown your plants or talked about your yield, only talked about how you screwed up your grow.

Are you sure, you promised a few posts back. Look kid I don't care if you grow monster plants, I hope you do. It's pretty easy to do with big lights and the right cut, have to be really bad at growing not to. The point is, just because you screwed up doesn't mean that hydro is hard, just that you screwed up.

I'm happy with Japanfreaks advice - reading his guide to Hempy growing convinced me to switch from soil and I won't grow in soil again.

It's not what you use it's how you use it. If you don't follow protocol then you'll fuck anything up. It boils down to PH, nutes, lights and watering properly. I just prefer rock wool and drip feed gives me more time to tend to the plants(like checking and adjusting PH twice a day and pulling the dead leaves off the plant and so on) Plus the plants get use to being feed on a schedule so they drink more and grow more faster. My last grow I pulled 1 lb off 3 plants with a 1000 watt and then added a 400 watt the 5th week of flower because my 1 plant was 5 ft wide and 3 ft tall and yeild 8oz 4gr dried weight 1 plant 3oz and 1 5oz 9gr. I did count the popcorn buds that were at the bottom

The fact is, it doesn't matter how you supply the right amounts of air, water, nutrients and light to the plants, as long as you do. If you don't, you can screw up your plants whether they're in soil or hydro. We've tried some of each and prefer soil but only because soil suits us better; not because one is better than the other. There are many ways to grow in soils and many more ways to grow without them. You can't possibly know all types of hydro or soil growing and so you can't possibly know one is always better than the other in any way. The most anyone can honestly say is that they've never witnessed one growing system perform in a certain way.

Both soil and soilless grows will always have their place in pot cultivation.
