this is my 1st grow need

actually at this point they are not even in a box i just got the cfls like 1/2 inch over them but i should be complty done 2day with the grow box and i will put them in thier and will get some some pics later on 2night.

they are still quite young , so monitoring the pH of the soil isnt imperative right now, but you will want to get on that sooner rather than later.

you will be looking for a soil pH of about 6.5-7.0. this is optimal for cannabis to flourish, in soil.

well i got everything dona and got the plants in thier with a fan. i dont have and ventilation besides the fan. its get preety hot after the 1000 wat light has been on for about an hour. is thier anyway i can make it coler isde their like a mini ac or something to keep it cool?

vent the room. you cant have stale air in there. you need to replace the air in the whole room at least once every 5 minutes. more if you have heat issues. you can solve your heat problems with proper ventilation every time.

how big is your room?

its 5fthigh 2 1/2 ft long and 2ft wide.

you have a 25 cubic foot area. in theory u would want at least a 5-10 cfm fan at least sucking air out all the time. but since your having heat problems i would change the air in there every 30 seconds, that wont allow heat to build up from the lamp. that might be a little to much tho and might create a windtunnel lol. i would look for a 50-75 cfm fan that u can rig up to exhaust your box. this should be your main priority right now, you cannot grow without proper ventilation. as for intakes, you always want your intake hole to be larger than your exhaust hole.
