Today I noticed what looks like a new sprout alongside my month old AK47 plant. There was only that one seed in there that created the plant so does that mean one of the roots sprang up to the surface and created that? Anybody seen something like that before???

i would be more inclined to say that it is not an MJ plant that is coming out of there.

My opinion get it out and get it gone.

Looks like your pot has been contaminated with a seed from something else.

That does not look like Cotyledons of an MJ plant.

Hey. I used to grow cucumbers and I'm pretty damn sure that's a cucumber sprout. take it out or its root will get tangled with your AK. Cucumbers have huge root systems even if they're only a few inches talll. Trust me you don't want it in there it will take all nutrients from the plant and QUICK!!!

^I was going to say "cucumber" too. They sure look alot like that, when they first sprout.

Let it grow. You could always use it for the munchies, if ya run outta junk food.

j/k It'll choke out the MJ, so better kill it pretty soon. Or, at least move it to a different pot, before the roots get too developed.

There correct thats not Mj, other seeds can appear in your soil even soil you get from the store.

I would pull it. Thats not a mj plant. More like a cucumber, watermelon or something along those lines. Sorry dude.

The seed don't fall far from the tree. About an inch away, in the 7:00 position I see what looks like a seed. Could be in the curcubitea family, kinda looks like a watermelon seed.
