Lol I wash my sheets once a week and make my bed every day... there is nothing better than crawling into a nice clean bed that smells like Downy. Come to think of it, I always make my boyfriend wash his sheets... and I absolutely refuse to stay the night if I see anything questionable on them.. but if it wasn't for me, yeah, 4 times a years sounds about right.
I have a hypothesis that this opinion may break along the gender line.

My mother, the wing nut, not only washed the sheets but starched and ironed them and she changed sheets daily! If I got out of bed in the middle of the night, to pee, she made my bed, more than once! Needless to say I do the sheets weekly and there's no starch. I do the top comforter monthly.
However unlike my mother I have on rare occasion when I got very pissed starched the hubs underwear
oh yes and ironed it... you can learn a lot from those steel magnolias (even the bat shit crazy ones).

Ya but out of those guys how many of them actually sleep in their own bed? Usually the couch or the floor or someone else's bed. So the sheets are clean. Plus I'm sure they lay down some nice clean newspaper for the sexy ladies

I wash my sheets 1 every 10 days. 3 times a month.
I have a California King bed, I sleep on one side for a few days, the middle for a few days and the other side for a few days. If I get female ejaculate on my sheets, I will wash. If I get my ejaculate, which hardly happens, I will wash. If I pee my bed, I will let it go until the next wash cycle.

When i was young, like 18 i really could not give two fucks about sheets, couldnt even smell them, but they were bad after a few months. Now im 35 i probably wash them every 2 weeks to a month. When im taking a break from weed i sweat like fuck and wake up so drenched i end up just sleeping on towels.

we all do some things great and others not so . . . i only shower 4-5 times a week . . .but i wash my bedding at least 1 every ten days . . poor fabric actually gets a lot of use

shower after work (you do have a job, right?) . hang out for 2 hours, and then go to bed. wtf??????? 4 times a year is right.
wanna know something even worse, your pillow!! how often do you replace that? I once heard that after like 2 or 3 years that 25% of your pillows weight is dead skin and other stuff.. now thats gross.
