plants have been flowering since for aprox. 75days now, under 1000w HPS light using CNS17 Bloom 2-2-3. watering once a day. All of a sudden out of the blue around 5wks into flowering, the top buds are sprouting leaves through them, and some of the lower buds are burning.

I bought them from a buddy who claimed the strain was trainwreck, well its lookin like a damn trainwreck. Humidity has been kind of an issue but nothing major. I have another unknow sativa strain growing with it as well with no problems what so ever. Can anyone give me a clue as to whats happening with these damn things.!!!!

The leaves growing out of the bud might be the strain. They called it Trainwreck for a reason.

Watering once a day is WAY to much in soil...you want to water until it drains out the bottom of the pot and then don't water again until the top few inches are dry to the touch. As far as the plant goes, I would research the strain a little bit on the web or even this site. It's either the strain and completely normal or the plant is trying to re-veg (light cycle wrong or not getting complete darkness).

It could be characteristic of the Trainwreck Strain. I grew one and they were ready by day 75.

Just my $0.02

May sound obvious, but any light leaks? I have had an issue with a plant that was still producing new bud beyond 90 days flowering. after careful hunting I found a small gap in my cabinet's seal that was letting light in during the day(my light cycle was on at night).

It is just the genetic predisposition of the plants in question. They are not showing signs of herming are they?

the bottom leafs yellowing and dieing late in flower is pretty normal
