Third seedling try

Use regular potting soil with perlite or vermiculite moving forward until you can figure out your issue...In all honesty, this is not tough at all, yet this thread seems to have the complexity of building a rocket ship.

A regular potting mix will have enough nutrients in it to get the ball rolling...Thus you wont have to worry about nutrients or the mix being to "hot" (higher nutrients) which can be a shock to young plants...At least this way you can establish a plant which will have a better ability to recover should something go wrong..In doing so, you will just be dialing in to primary factors..light and water.

Agree. This is not a rocket science. This is why I don't get it.
My first grow was so easy. I had few plants and non of them made any issues.
That why I suspect its the seeds.

I will try again few seeds this time, some with new soil and some with the existing one.
Also not only White widow, I have 2 more strains seeds.

Couldn’t find anything about that soil online but honestly not saying ur a lier or anything but it really!!!! Looks like coco, the strands of coco hair if you’d call it that, how airy it looks and the very light brown when it’s dry. Soil when dry looks way different that coco. Try a different soil.
Sure, wasn't think u saying :)

Its looks like, agree, there is some amount of coco in the soil, its a mix.

Yes, I will try with different soil.

Thank you guys. I will update.

Ok.

Problems? I am not sure what is going on bug again after 2 weeks +- the leaves are falling down.
No WAY I watered it too much this time!

Perfect 25 Celsius in the tent. I upgrade the vent and the fan for this.
Also there is a new light, better one, quantum board 150W.
50-60 moist level.
The lamp is 80 cm above.

I watered very gentle with minimum dosage of root juice and PH balanced RO water.

The roots are popping from the holes in the bottom.

The soil is almost totally dry now after I watered 2 days ago.
I am checking with scale, she is weighting now on 80 gram, almost total dry.

Should I water it again now?
Move it to a new pot?
And the real question, can it be a bad genetics? its from Nirvana, but they start really good, and then something is going wrong...

Please advice... she is the most important thing I have in this corona crises after my family :(

Here are some photos, last 4 days:

i loved Nirvana's Maui Waui so I don't think it's them either. Maybe the soil is all coco and then if so you should not let it go too dry. Tough to say since there is only one and you can't try different things to each one. Maybe you should try some regs soon so you can grow a male and collect pollen and make your own seeds and then you can plant many at once and try different things with each one without spending on seeds. Then again, this one doesn't look dead yet and lt looks better than before. what's the status?

Ok' to sum up this thread for now:

She is not looking good.
I moved her to a new pot with new soil.

But now I am taking another approach, I lost patience for one seed try each time.

So I planted few good seeds from another source (Persian kush) that I know they worked before without any issue.
I also planted GSC and Aurora from Nirvana and a one new WW.
This time one seed with new soil and one with the old soil.

I am going to figure out why 3 seedling died without any reason I can learn from.

This post is spot on.

It's much easier to start in small nursery pots of soil. You can still grow in coco. I do it all the time. The small amount of soil won't hurt anything. Even though I grow in coco I've found it less hassle to start in soil and just use plain tap water instead of worrying about pH and nutrient strength.

I get 100% germination just planting straight into soil. If the seedling doesn't grow it's because it wasn't viable to begin with. I transplant seedlings like these that were started in small nursery pots of soil into 3 gallon pots of coco and then treat like coco. The small amount of soil around the root ball doesn't affect anything and I just treat like coco after transplant.

These came from the above tray and are growing in coco.

Nice seedling.

Can it be that the seed is sprouting and still it have a weak genetics?
All of my tries stated good with 100% but all of them stopped developed after 2 weeks without figuring out the reason..

I don't think your issue is genetics. I've seen some of your other posts and you were keeping the seedlings too wet. I also think that Gohhny Green or whatever you're planting in is just coco and perlite. It's a soilless mixture devoid of amendments. I could be wrong. Maybe you can post a link to their website or a picture of the front and back of the bag so we know what you're actually growing in.

I can't find it online, and the bad doesn't say.
It look and feel like soil that mixed with perlite.

The is the soil from the shop. I know their coco package. its not.
Have a closer look, its soil mix, got some coco inside.

I didn't wet it too much this time, can't be so wrong.
Need to be an idiot to wet it too much 3 times... believe me. I am not.

I have now 4 different strains, in both soils, perfect conditions, lets see what is the real cause.

I used to say that, but I was mistaken. Using a baseline of wetness that was incorrect.

Just look at xtsho's garden pictures and tell us what you see. He's a plant guy. He thinks medium is suspect and wetness is off

That looks like a soiless mix. Peat or coco are not soil. They're used as components in soil as are compost, worm castings, forest products and other things. That looks like a straight coco or peat/perlite mix. I don't see anything like compost or small pieces of other organic material. That's what it looks like to me from the photo. Soil would be something like Fox Farms, Happy Frog, or any other Potting mix. That looks similar to Promix HP which is a soilless mix of peat and perlite devoid of any nutrients. If so you need to adapt your grow for the medium you're growing in.

My advice is to get an actual potting mix and take it easy on the watering. The soil can dry out on top before watering. You don't need to water everyday and keep it soaking wet. Damp soil is better than wet soil for roots. When I say soil I mean a mix that has things like compost, worm casting, and other things like guano, crab meal, etc... Things that provide nutrients to the plant. Give them plain water and leave them alone. Other than that I can't offer anything more.

Closer pic of that “soil” ?
Kinda looks like coco still.

Update - it was the soil!

I planted 2 seeds of 4 strains, one in the old soil, one in the new soil.
The new soil is looking great - all of them are twice the size and looking much better!

Same water, same tent, only the soil is different!

I knew its not over watering. I was very very careful with watering.

NOT only that - I moved the dying White Widow to a new pot with the new soil and she is recoverd and she is amazing now touch wood.

Can anyone have any explanation to that?
Its soil + coco + perlite in one mix, soil + coco on the other mix ( the new one)

I tested the ph of the soil, its the same, after RO waster its 6.3~6.4.

The old soil mix I got from our hydro shop store.
This has drive me crazy, good to find out the reason.

Here are some photos.

The baby after recovering in the new soil, she is 24 days now:

GSC - much larger then the other seed in the old soil, look at the leaves, the size of the photo can misslead

Aurora - the new soil is much better!

PK - the new soil progress is way a head.
