Third Grow, Still having trouble with feeding...

Hey guys, Although I used a 400 watt hps for my first grow I only pulled 4 ounces. For my second grow I upgraded to a 1k hps and got iguana juice bloom and bud blood. My second grow looked really promising but for some reasong a few of the plants stunted in growth altogether. durring flowering and only produced a few buds. I pulled like 6.5 ounces of really prime bud. It was purple kush. But I feel like I could of pulled more with a 1k hps. I believe I was underfeeding....
or possiblly it was the cold night temps in winter when lights were out.


I have 8 seedlings that cracked the surface yesterday from the few seeds I pulled from my PK plants last round. Problem is, I had a critical mass, a super lemon haze in their as well and I've come to find out the area I am growing in was previously grown in for years so possibly pollen could of been their. I do not really know what they are but I'm hoping they don't hermi.

I will be using Flora micro, Iguana juice bloom, cal mag, and superthrive for nutrients. I do have bud blood and I may use it depending on how logn I veg. I didn't like the effects of it previously because I didn't get any stretch in flowering and ended up with smalled plants then expected.

What should I be feeding my plants using these nutrients....Should I start feeding at two weeks?

u want to start feeding at a month so you know the roots are developed. check your npk ratios and only give some at veggie the ones with high nitrogen and at flowering time lay off the nitrogen rich nutes and start using the ones with high phosphorous. watch for nute lock later down the road. i understand ppl like using nutes but sometimes more than three seems over kill. the superthrive isnt used as nutes its more hormonal. you dont give it superthrive as often as you do the other ones. the superthrive is a b vitamin complex i think....

yea i agree ^ , at about 3 weeks i give them a weak dose of phosphorous just to ensure the roots got what they want. Next, nitrogen until a few weeks before flowering, then some micro nutes and flush before i transplant for flowering. For flowering i use a heavy phosphorous fert and toward cold months (about half into flowering) i switch to a high phosphorous with potassium (k) to make the roots more hardy to winter weather.

great to know i got the same iguana juice hope that stuff pulls off.
