I am no pro, but my DIY carbon filter works great, and has no odors. The DIY one posted in the 101 grow faqs looks identical to that ozone cleaner minus the casing.
Lightwise, what i found to be better was using T5 fluoros for veg, then hps for flowering. Altogether a t5 system and 1000 watt hps would be cheaper than that mh/hps dual combo. Check out htg garden supply for cheaper stuff.

I am using 133w of CFL lights (8 lights in all) for 5 plants and they are growing like crazy

I think now im gonna go with a 400 w system like this one

nd get a 400W MH conversion bulb

anyone know if a good air purifier would be enough to control the odur of 10 plants

Actually it would be much better to go with a mh/hps switchable ballast. Thats what iv got and it works great. A set of t5 floros wouldnt even Compare to a 1000watt Metal halide. I know, i made the switch my self. I used to have a t5 and a 400 watt hps then i upgraded to a switchable and havnt looked back since.

I was gonna go with the MH/hps switchable ballast kit but it isnt very affordable at the moment, so i decided on going with a 400W hps kit with a 400w mh conversion bulb. Im still not really sure what im gonna use for odur.
I would like to just buy a $100-150 air purifier but i dont really know if it will work well. If not then i might just try nd make a carbon filter.

also the kitt that im getiing comes with a white batwing thats 16'' by 24''
I was wondering if maybe I buy a better reflector like this

I feel it depends on *how* you want to grow. A plant, or set of plants, from a baby to harvest then start over? Then I'd opt for the switchable set up. MH/HPS. One ballast, 2 bulbs. That is fairly cost effective.

But for a rolling setup where some are in veg, while others are in the bloom room, then a HPS and floro or MH. Floro, from what I've been reading seem just fine for veg. And if its a rolling set up, the minor extra time in veg may not be a real issue.

just my 2 cents.

I plan on just doing baby to harvest then start over and do the same

Might I suggest a rolling grow? Its a little more effective.
Grow a few seed and see whos a guy/girl. Keep one girl for a momma. Clone her and bud the clones.
This way you always have girls.

I was going to go that route. Then decided to go the rolling. (one reason is that Momma Cass, got too big for my room to bud.)

Happy growing! may they all be girls!

Actually rather south of Canada (Amerika Lite. Taste the same, 1/3 less problems) Just been up there a bunch. Also like the Red Green show.

(floro aren't much to run for veg. Space might be an issue.)
