Ok just smoked a biggie, so might be talking nonsense but lets just run this by the collective brain:
So I dont have an area restriction, but I do have a height restriction, has anyone ever considered, or tried, putting the whole setup on its side.. Obviously there is gravity and there is light, plant will follow the light, water will follow the gravity, but if I have a grow room 4.5 ft high but eight ft long what happens if I solve the water and soil falling out issues and basically mount my plant to one side wall and mount my lights perpendicular to the normal 'hang from the ceiling' setup, so everything is growing sideways instead of 'up' - is this madness or genius? Could I potentially tease out a 6 ft sativa in a 4.5 ft high room horizontally? or is it me who is too high? ...discuss.
