thinking of starting a scrog few simple questions

Well first off I'm currently I'm 5 weeks into flowering on my first grow. I've had a few newbie mistakes and what not. As soon as these are done harvestinng I plan on trying to do a scrog in an 18 gallon rubbermaid tote. I willl drill holes for drainage and what not. I have 2 questions.

1) beinging an 18 gallon container would I be ok planting two plants in the container, or should I look into buying say 2 10 gallon pots and scrogging that way. 2) I will be using clones from one of 3 strains from a friends mother plant. My next question is what plants work better in a scrog method sativa or indica's?

Two plants in 18 gallons would be fine. You could probably do three if the size is right and that would fill the screen faster.

You can do either indical or sativa, but sativas will be a lot more work, I would recommend going with indicas until you understand how to fill the screen better. Remember, the plant should be trained or topped and just touching the screen when you switch to 12/12, in most circumstances.

Good luck.

nuh uh...........screen should be 70% filled with sativas, or 80% filled with Indies, when 12/12 is begun. the beginning of stretch fills remainder of screen

You do it your way and I'll do it mine (and he'll have to figure out the difference on his own) :D
