Thinking of removing branches 6 weeks into flower

I have two lower branches that i wished i would have cut off earlier. I thought i could save them by tying down the taller ones to expose more light to the smaller ones, but it didn't work.

Now the plant is wasting energy on a couple of branches that will be underdeveloped .. I've taken off branches earlier in flower before, but nothing this late into flowering (besides the nit picking). I Think it should be okay to snip these branches off 6wks into flower so the plant can put that energy into much larger developing tops? I've been drinking so........hope this made sense.

If a deer were to wonder in that room
he wouldnt think twice about trampling
and eating a while and the plant would still live. I would shoot yhe deer but that is a different matter
Unless you have a super flakey sativa
or just crappy genetics which you probably dont.
Im ok with cutting a small branch or two.
I generally dont do it that late
but reality dictates you SHOULD be fine.
Just dont get nuts.

I learned drinking and staring at my plants is dangerous.
Maybe re exam this tomorrow
or not
