Think you can put one past Karma?

I went to the nursery this past weekend and ripped 3, 2 inch suckers off of some HUGE heirloom plants with the intention to clone it when I get home. 5 minutes from leaving the nursery, a brotha gets pulled over for a broken break light.

Well done, karma. Well done.

It may have just been some plant matter, but I believe it's said that crime doesn't pay!

There would be nothing to gain if you had cloned them - they would always be stolen plants!

Just brush it off and don't be so careless with your decisions next time!

If you cant afford to buy it then you shouldnt be growing it! Plain and simple. Once a thief always a thief

^^^ People deserve chances.....we all have to learn our lessons in life. Hopefully the lesson is learned

Wow. Woulda thought I would have received more compassion from a forum full of law breakers.

Funny thing is, I still dont consider it stealing. If people cut off my suckers, I'd be like, "Do you need a party cup or some soil?"

I doubt you's say that if you caught them in the middle of your grow with a pair of scissors! ;)

Karma is a mother fucker man. That's why I am as compassionate as I can be when it comes to my meds. So far it's all been a wash. I donate excess to a few that really need it and somehow I always end up happy and stocked.

You're right but I wouldn't be in someone's garden taking cuttings of their meds, ya feel? There's differing degrees in plants, imo.

Tomato suckers. Take all you want, imo. The plant grows bigger when you do. Even meds though, if you ask me and I have a big bush, I'm not trippin as long as it's not in flower.

I believe in karma, no doubt, that's why I started the thread. But next time I"m just going to look for damaged branches and ask a manager personally.

I don't agree with what is done and theft is theft. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the people that work at a nursery took a cutting off a plant or 2.

The saying once a thief always a thief isn't always true. Some times it only takes once getting caught or karma getting them back to not steal ever again.

1 thing that I have learned in life when it comes to plants some times you just have to ask and you could end up with a cutting or a plant.

Everthing has its place, even stealing. If I wouldn't have figured where some of the local cops was growing their dope I never would have had an interest in growing mj.

I've actually done much worse when me and some friends stopped at a closed store at night and took like 7-8 plants that were for sale but left outside over night. I learned my lesson soon after even tho we didn't get caught. Now I am so heavily into gardening that I spend all my extra money & free time on it. It's kind of ironic

So, again - people have the ability to learn from their mistakes. I often learn by mistake

Somebody's backyard bamboo snuck under the brick wall and out onto the street. I took cuttings without permission. :D Better, right?!?!

^^^ I'd say it's totally fair game if it was growing on a public sidewalk! In fact, I think that's pretty cool! Put it to use cuz I bet no one gives a shit about the darn thing and people think it's a weed. Think of it as a rescue!

Guess some lawbreakers have some scruples..Hey chalk it up as a lesson learned..The ticket going to cost a lot more than what you took...So it's definately karma..It also gives you an idea about what is important in your life......Hey thank goodness it wasnt anything major..So that's a good ting..Just keep your headup/also think about what's important in your life.. Peace....

You didn't really steal it. They still have their plant, you just have a cutting. Win-win-win (I'm sure the plant didn't mind having it's seed spread).

I see it as fair game since its on public sidewalk. That bamboo looks pretty cool imo. I think there's goona be a point where someone is gonna complane about it and such.

Bamboo grows fast and spreads so you could harvest one day and make a bunch of nunchucks! And then sell them!
