^^^^^^ let the plant go 2-3 weeks past its window. It will form bananas and produce fem pollen.. collect pollen and add ot to whatever plant in its 3rd week of flower. au natural. That's Soma's method. Oldschool too. I don't like the silver spray idea. I'm all about the purest organics though.
When producing pollen and female or male and plants producing seeds. Plants will use much more nutes too. Especially Cal and potassium. (Kelp).
When seeds develop. The plant will also stop producing resin. Let the plant go a month longer to produce viable seeds.
Make sure what ever plant is producing pollen. That plant is grown in a seperate house or building. Otherwise you will ruin your batch.

exactly the way u do it. all fem seeds, no chemicals. with the cilodial silver u cant smoke the nug its not good for your lungs. i would get myself some personal strain fem seeds and then ill have a good crop starter. iv been trying to do this for a while now.
thank u all for the feedback the ez cloners are awesome thanks for the pics. thats going to be my method to try next. as of now im just using tap water cut, score the bottom of the stem with a knife, soak, dip using bontone rooting powder/or garden safe rooter, then i put the cutting into a small 2oz shot glass with a vine clipping from a vine i have growing that sprouts roots in 3 days and will secreat its natural rooting hormones into the water. i use natural light from a window with some other vine plants.

Let the 'daddy' flower, keep flowering and eventually about 3 weeks over the time she was done a few male nanners will start popping out. Any girl you pollinate with that pollen will give female only seeds.
Here it gets a bit patchy I'm diggin far into my memory here so if anybody sees a flaw and can correct me please do so:
Male/female characteristics are recessive genes, they HAVE to be, and a mutated hermaphrodite gene is dominant. So what happens in the first generation is the dominant gene, well, dominates.
Fems are not really fems, they're herms that just won't actually express the characteristic yet. next generation on they're sure as hell going to, though.
You can also spray a female branch with colloidial silver, or gibberelic acid, to get the male nanners on a female plant.
This is why fems suck. You can't breed with 'em safely.

female plants chromisomes are (xx) and male plants are (xy) when crossing two females the characteristics of all the offspring are (xx) due to the mothers both passing down the (xx) dominant genes. if u pollinate a female with a male the offspring will show half (xx) genotypes and half (xy). therefore its all about the geno types of the females. if u have a hermified plant due to other environmental stress the resulting offspring would be about 80% (xx) and 20% (xy) and in this case using this hermie would raise the chances that the female plants will turn hermie

with Clonex gel (Indole butyric acid, B1 thiamine):
This stuff is a P-I-T-A. A few drops in a tiny glass (small damper glasses available at Sally Beauty), and a makeup brush.
Prep the cutting by shaving off the lower leaves, and if necessary, scraping the skin. Paint the purple stuff on there.
For the amount of trouble this is, I like the DG better.
with DipNGrow (Indole-3-butyric acid, 1-Napthaleneacetic acid):
Pour the DG in the beaker provided. Fill ABOVE the designated line. Fill with water. A strong solution is better.
Prep cuttings as above, and soak in the solution for 10 min or so. Minutes - not seconds. I've forgotten them for 1/2 hour.
Small party cups 2/3 filled with a 'seedling' mix of dirt, and Earth Juice Mycos granular. Water completely. Drain. Use a dowel, chopstick, bamboo, whatever, to poke hole all the way to the bottom of the cup. Sprinkle powdered mycos in the hole. Slide the cutting in gently and press soil firmly. Top off with soil mix. Water thoroughly.
Place in veg box with other plants. 99% success. I rarely have a clone that doesn't root.
I don't own a domed contraption, but I'm sure the humidity helps the leafs get big and strong. I may try that out one of these days. I'm mostly happy to get the babies to live.
PS I live in SW desert where there is heat and no humidity.

Take the mother, flip her on her side, using a large enough tub, cover the limbs with dirt making sure that the ends (tips) and all the other many different branches are popping out of the dirt, don't forget the top. Don't worry about bending or breaking the limbs. Water the soil and provide light for the next 7 to 10 days. After the wait, pull back the soil and check for roots, you should see roots starting to grow out of the plant, everywhere. Dig the bitch up being carful and shake off the dirt. Now strategically cut your clones off the mother making sure the cutting has roots.

I have a 99.99% clone success rate. ive only lost one cutting out of about 100 attempts. I use a 36 site aero cloner, water ph to 6.5, toss in a small air stone, cut cutting stem at 45*, shave stem, dip in cloner gel, place in cloner machine. add 5ml/gal (2.5gal) of regen a root hormone and add a 2-4' 6500k t8 lights 24/7. 7 days later roots are forming, and 11-14 days later HUGE root growth and ready for potting. I do top off with fresh water if res level drops a bit.

I have 100% success rate. Unless I knock them over and break the stems... That happened recently. I just use fresh aloe vera from a leaf. I pull a leaf and cut the end. Stand it upright for a couple hours to drain sap. Then I snip off the tip of aloe leaf. Squeeze enough to break cellulose and loosen aloe gel. Dip the cutting in the gel in the tip of leaf. The stick the cutting directly in soil in a party cup. Put a Ziploc bag over the cup. I don't like tray n domes. Tie down the bag. Then take it off after 2 days. Leave Ziploc off for 20 min. Each day take bag off once increasing time by 20 min each day. The aloe is full of all kinds of minerals and the selenium in it is a growth enhancer (turbo button). I have clones rooted in soil in 5 days every time.
I do a foliar of pureed aloe and kelp (kelp meal tea) every other day.
The soil is recycled soil with compost and castings and cooked with just that for a couple weeks.
aloe Vera is free when you have your own plants. You can buy them for $3-$5 at nurseries, home depot, WalMart, lowes, Costco, etc....

For each one I move to the tent, I throw 2-3 extras away. I've always got a few that are well-rooted on hand, and only toss away the rooted ones when I have spares and am taking new clippings.
Moms, backup Moms, a couple ready for the flowering tent, and clones (Jack Herer, Chemdawg and White Widow):

I don't veg at all. I go straight from clone to the flower tent. What you see is my Mom/clone area. When I stage up new clones in pots for the flower tent, I leave them in this small area under my breakfast bar until lights come on

I use a 36 site aero cloner as well. Although i have not had it for long every cut i have made big or small has rooted! I was shocked to have this much success to be honest.. I cut at 45 degree angle and also scrape sides of cutting then soak in clonex gel for about ten mins then strait into plug and into cloner. I keep my misters on 24/7 with exception to about ten mins off a day to check underneath. Tap water down to about 6.5 and I also ad a small dose of GH root xcelerator once i start to see lil roots forming! lighting is 4 foot t5!
