Think my plant is DEAD :(

about 5 days ago i switched to flowering. The first day looked great, second day they looked a little sad (first 3 pics). Then the third day the leaves were all down :( so i posted for some help and ppl suggest lower the nuts. so i did that and well no help. I did this for 2 days. now last night I cleaned it out and put straight RO water in at ph level 6. Still plants look just as sad, NO growth nothing. Only growth i have noticed are the roots. Do i just keep on giving the plant RO water at ph 6 till it perks up or any suggestions. i mean this is my first Hydro grow and it looked bloody amazing till i switched to flowering, now it is just sad. The first 3 pics are from 5 days ago and the ones after i just took right now. they are on 12/12 schedule with red lights

yea that is all i am hoping for, i am getting new growth at the bottom that looks fine, and roots are still getting lager. i am lost y they are sad. i dont understand it at all.

Did you change bulbs or anything? That plant looks way pissed. Keep flushing it for like a week then start it back on low food.

You really did nothing but change the lights to 12/12? That doesn't seem likely....

If you can tell us what else you did we can help more. Did you overload on flowering nutes?

i had it at 900 PPM in veg, then I changed out the bulbs and cleaned the folgers jar and put 800 PPM of flowering nuts. Sensi bloom A-B, also liquid bat guano, silica blast. the res temp is around 68 threw out the day. the roots are that colour from the Bat Guano. That is all i have done nothing else. My other plant which is soil is doing fine and still feeding on the 800 PPM of flowering nuts. The hydro is on RO water at PH 6. I have done nothing else at all.

Man, if you had me growing in that area, I'd be pissed too. That area looks trashed. Dead leaves, chemicals, and your electrical outlets and plugins on the ground below the water level. Figure out what's wrong with your plant and all and clean that up before you have pests and diseases compounding your problems. That's shameful.

Also, the new growth on the bottom, you should consider cutting off so your lady doesn't waste energy there.

Cleaned up my area some, and also picked alot of the new growth off. and brought out my other air pump and found a T joint so ALOT more bubbles in my container :)

Anyone else out there any wisdom to this very strange issue i have would be greatly appreciated. Cleaned up my owrk area, took the new growth at the bottom off. Added some more bubbles to my RES/ I am using PH level 6 RO, And my plants are SAD AS HELL :( So so far my plan of attack is, keep cleaning out my bucket every day. and using more RO water at level 6 ph for another 4 days and VERY slowly add some nuts. Any other suggestions out there. Also raised my BadBoy T5s higher.

I think I solved my Prob. I have to much water in the container. So i am over watering the plant. That is y the leaves are all down. So i cleaned the res right now and added only about 2 inches of water so the bottom of the roots are floating instead of ALL the roots in the water

My first thought was that it looked overwatered but since it was DWC I didn't even think to ask where your water level was. Nice catch there! Did you have the water level lower before you switched to flower?

Thanx for the help mann. and yea mistake on my part. The water level in veg at the end was 2-3 inches. When i started flowering i filled it all the way up to the NEt pot. I forgot to keep in mind the root growth i had lol.

YES you can if u have the water filled up all the way to the net pot, yes u can overwater. most ppl dont fill all the way to the net pot but i have such a small container that well i have that issue.

YOU CAN FILL IT UP EVEN PAST THE NET IN DWC.. your ISSUE is a small air pump. I can TOP off my 18gal res. drowning my plants :) i use an industrial pump 1000gpm they are like 50-60bucks. IN DWC = MORE AIR BUBBLES = BIGGER HEALTHIER PLANT

No shit! what a pigsty get the electrical stuff up off the bottom. if your airpump dies it could syphon the water backward to the pump and onto the electrical shit causing a fire. keep your area clean and free of cludder and its easyer to maintain your grow. I use water and bleach to wipe down my drip pans, walls and floors once a week. this keeps mites away and kills fungus spores ect...that might be hanging around. use screw in hooks to hang all that stuff above the res. then loose the foil and paint the walls white or tape up some white printer paper, it actualy works good. and will cut down heat. hope your girls get better.

Yes you can. The idea of DWC is that the bubbles bursting creates a mist which feeds and waters the roots. EVENTUALLY the roots grow down into the actual water, then it becomes important to keep the water oxygenated. If you start the water level out too high it will saturate whatever your clone/plant is in (rockwool, rapid rooter, etc) which will over water the plant.

If it's not possible then how have I done it and mikmike just did it?

No one disagrees that more bubbles = better plant. But if you can have the most powerful air pump in the world, if your RW cube is completely soaked all the time, then your plant is going to be over watered.

my point was with a GOOD air pump you cant over water in DWC.. obviously he isnt good proof seeing as his setup doesnt have all the aspect in check.
