think ive got hermies!!!

i started some plants from seeds left over from a bag of thai they are 3 weeks into flowering now and im sure theyre hermies some stalks all female characteristics some looking like males (balls). my question is this. how will they smoke? theyre both 7ft tall and look real healthy and i dont want to destroy them.

I would pick off any balls u see and grow um out as long as you dont have any pure females near by the smoke will be better than nothing but the more balls u miss the more seed ur gonna have

Ive got a herm in flower right now,1 month and 3 weeks,i just let it go,shouldnt have though,i would say it would be a pain to pick off all the male flowers on that big of a plant........

only way to fine out is to try it and either try and make feminized seeds using the pollen from the hermie and pollenating the female, or just cut off the male sex parts and hope for very few seeds and finish your process out bro , and pics would be alot of help man

nice one. ill go and start castrating them now then. this is my first grow i think i will invest in some feminised seeds next time. as long as this shit smokes im not that bothered

yeah mine are only 3 feet and its a pain in the ass those lil fuckers are hard to see !

make sure you look in the bud as well,they get pollen sacks in tiny places,you miss one pollen sack and that a lot of seeds sometimes,ive even had docile hermies that couldnt make seeds.

if i were you i would cut off all but a few of the sacks and check that plant every day to time the pollen harvest just right. take the mature sacks that you left on the plant and gently place them in the bottom of a clean salad dressing cup that ya get at a pizza place. once the sacks have dried out they will drop their pollen in the bottom of the cup, will be a yellow color powder. be sure to leave the top loose so the moisture can escape. save until your plants are in flower and use a damp Q-tip to collect the polled from the bottom and apply to your flowers. give you as many Fem. seeds as you want for next season. Thats just what I would do.

I had a out of control hermi once was pickin the balls off as fast as the could grow, but I still missed quite a few... end result was a bud the size of a quarter coin would have about 5-10 seeds in it leaving little to nothing to smoke, the most smoke what the "seed pods" - it was not potent at all, tasted okay, but didn't do the job.
