It would be nice if someone from the Grand Rapids area told us some good spots. I know it's a hot spot in the state.

I have been to this before... amazing dancing and a fun time! Kids LOVED it :)

you could always go to the nicer glass shops in ann arbor and look around, we have fun just walking around downtown, all sorts of different people there.

Cook's Farm Dairy in Ortonville does everything on site. They raise the cows, they milk the cows, process the milk and make ice cream right on the dairy.

Call ahead they have tours when they aren't busy making ice cream.

MSU campus also has an excellent garden along the river behind the library. There is also a homemade ice cream outlet on farm lane. ask around, the ice cream shop doesn't have signs.

Cranbrook is my favorite spot... Booth Mansion on the hill and The Japanese Gardens.

Anyone ever hear of geocaching? you use a gps and find jars or other vessels hidden on trails throughout the country. I think there are 4000 or so in michigan. when you find it, your allowed to take something out and put something in for someone else to find. You could also just put something in I suppose.
